A decode-and-forward relaying scheme based on orthogonal superposition modulation

Abstract

In this paper, we proposed a new scheme of cooperative relaying scheme base on orthogonal superposition modulation and soft demodulation which is similar with multiuser detection. The new scheme can be considered as a different way to achieve a similar purpose with superposition modulation [6]. We optimized the parameter in order to achieve the best performance. Simulation results show that our new scheme outperform the classical cooperation based on decode-and-forward by about l-2dB at the same complexity.
