Abstract

A deception jamming method to SAR based on extended aperture is proposed in the view of the problem existing in general deception jamming method. The principle and steps of the improved method are presented. The method gives a solution to the problem of how to set a focused jamming image on an appointed area in the case of unknown azimuth parameters. Results of simulation indicated that the principle of the method is correct and valuable in engineering applications.
