N2 - In this paper, a compact and reconfigurable IFA-IFA hybrid antenna for foldable smartphones is presented, utilizing symmetrical metal frames within a limited area. By leveraging the dynamic switching mechanism of the parasitic stub, the antenna achieves adaptive operation across multiple bands. In the B1/B3 bands, the open stub enhances radiation efficiency from about 47% to 53.2% through cooperative resonance. In the B40/B41/N78 bands, shorting the stub improves efficiency from 20-36% to 44-55% by suppressing parasitic coupling. Simulation results demonstrate the antenna achieves good radiation efficiency across all target frequency bands, offering a compact multi-band solution for 5G foldable devices.
