Abstract

As one of the key technologies of IoT network, RFID has been widely applied in many areas, such as warehouse management, logistics tracking, pharmaceutical monitoring and so on. In this work, we focus on solving the efficient and reliable tag identification under capture effect. We proposed a capture aware splitting tree (CST) protocol and build up capture model for passive UHF RFID systems. Both theoretical analysis and simulation comparisons are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed protocol. Compared with existing works, CST reduces the identification by at least 15%.
