40×10Gbit/s transparent transmission over 90km SMF using distributed Raman fiber amplifiers

Abstract

40×10Gbit/s transparent transmission over 90km SMF using Distributed Raman amplifier has been designed. The gain ripple is below 1.5dB without any gain equalizer. The OSNR of each channel is larger than 41dB.
