Abstract

In this paper, a LTCC (low temperature co-fired ceramic) chip multiplayer coupler is presented. The operation features two coupled multiplayer inductor with higher negative coupling coefficients. The operation frequency of the coupler is 400-520 MH. Its size is only 1.6 mm × 3.2 mm × 0.76 mm when implemented by a standard LTCC technology. Its coupling is -20±2 dB, the isolation is -35 dB typically and the return loss is less than -20 dB.
