Abstract

There are two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C₂₀H₂₃N₃O, in which the dihedral angles between the phenyl ring of the phenylethylamino group and the benzimidazole system are 73.98 (15) and 15.93 (16)°. The crystal packing features N - H···O and N - H···N hydrogen bonds.
