Abstract
All-optical wavelength-preserved 2R regeneration with simultaneous wavelength conversion of 100-Gb/s OOK signal is experimentally demonstrated based on cross-gain compression in SOAs. Receiving sensitivity is improved by more than 1.7 dB in the regenerated signal.
