Abstract
As a new type of multi-principal component solid solution alloy, high-entropy alloy has complicated component, global disorder, multi-principal component effect and excellent comprehensive performances. It is expected to be used as a new type of anti-irradiation structural material for advanced nuclear reactor system. In this paper, the present research status of anti-irradiation properties of high-entropy alloy was mainly introduced, involving the evolution of radiation defects, the variation of microstructures and the performance degradation of high-entropy alloy. The overview of the influence of multi-principal component effect on the evolution process of irradiation damage of high-entropy alloy was given. In view of the research on the anti-irradiation property of high-entropy alloy, several anti-irradiation damage mechanisms of high-entropy alloy were presented. The existing problems of study on anti-irradiation property of high-entropy alloy were summarized, and the future research directions of high-entropy alloy were prospected.
