Abstract
The safety and stability of steering is the key issue for a vehicular dual-launch platform. This work took a vehicular dual-launch platform of the intermediate and long-range missiles as the research object and conducted an in-depth research on its lateral stability. A rigid-flexible coupled dynamic model for stability analysis was established and a full-size vehicle test was carried out. The numerical and experimental results were compared to verify the correctness of the model. The influences of different missile-carrying status on the lateral stability of the launch platform were analyzed and the safe cornering speeds for different missile-carrying status were given, which provides a theoretical reference for the system design and optimization of vehicular dual-launch platforms.
