Abstract

In order to objectively review the development context and look into future development trend of ammunition damage assessment technology in China, based on 911 journal articles on damage assessment technology collected from China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database between 1993 and 2022, the CiteSpace software was used to study the ammunition damage assessment technology to draw the knowledge map of the research institutions, authors, research status and research hotspots, and to carry out a visual econometric analysis. The study found that damage assessment technology has important theoretical and practical significance for fully leveraging the combat performance of weapons and equipment, combat level, firepower strike plan and rational allocation of combat resources. Through an analysis of keyword frequency, keyword clustering, keyword timeline and keyword emergence, it is proposed that ammunition damage assessment technology should be further studied in terms of collaborative damage, real-time damage assessment, integration of computer technology and damage assessment technology, which will better improve the development system of ammunition damage assessment technology both at theoretical and practical levels.
