Abstract

To solve the problem of passive localization under not line of sight (NLOS) in complex urban environment, a passive localization method based on probability accumulation is proposed. The distribution probabilities of transmitter location obtained by multiple 3-point measurement systems are summed, and the maximum value of cumulative probability is taken as the final estimation of transmitter location. The numerical simulation results show that the positioning accuracy of the receiver has little effect on the positioning results. The positioning error of almost all radiation sources in the simulation area is less than 30 m, and the average measurement deviation is 19.4 m.
