Abstract
Clustering side-channel analysis is one of the popular methods to analyze the public key cryptography. So far the most common method is to make use of time or power information for clustering. However, the efficiency needs to be further improved. In order to solve this problem, this paper adopts the isometric compression method to realize multi-channel combination. This method integrates the algorithm running time and its energy consumption, which helps to find more leakage for clustering analysis. Simulation experiments show the validity of the new method. A commercial RSA smart card is taken as an example to verify its effectiveness in practical applications. Experimental results show that the new method effectively makes the difference of wave segments of different operations more distinguishable than the known methods, and the clustering accuracy of RSA smart card reaches 99.48%. Finally, the complete key of the smart card can be successfully recovered with traversal search.
