Abstract
The traditional temperature demodulation method of the distributed fiber Raman temperature measurement system had been optimized. New compensation methods for fiber loss and fiber dispersion are proposed. The temperature demodulation error caused by the different attenuation speed between stokes and anti-stokes scattering signals is compensated by the coincidence processing. The position of stokes backscattering signal is corrected by the compensation method for fiber dispersion, which compensated the measurement error caused by the different speed of two beams, and improved the accuracy of temperature measurement and position location.
