Cheng Yurong, pre-appointed Associate Professor (Special Researcher), doctoral supervisor, School of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology. Winner of excellent doctoral thesis Nomination Award of China Computer Society. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Northeastern University in 2012 and 2017, respectively. He worked as an assistant researcher and postdoctoral researcher in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Beijing Institute of Technology. His research interests include spatio-temporal data analysis, crowdsourced data management and analysis, federated learning, data sharing, graph data management, knowledge graph query and analysis, etc. So far, he has published nearly 20 academic papers including TPDS, TKDE, KDD, VLDB, ICDE and other CCF class A journals or conferences. He has conducted or participated in 8 longitudinal research projects. Served as a reviewer for various top journals and conferences for many times, such as TPDS, TKDE, WWWJ, SIGKDD, CIKM, etc.
