Professor Hu Xiping

Hu Xiping, senior professor and doctoral supervisor of Beijing University of Technology, Director of the Research Center for Emotional Intelligence and Pervasive Computing of Shenzhen Beili Moscow University, and special expert of National Key Talent Project. He received his Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia. His research fields include mobile information physical systems, swarm intelligence computing and emotional intelligence computing. He has published more than 150 high quality papers in related research areas, such as IEEE TPAMI/TIP/TMC/TPDS/JSAC, AAAI, IJCAI, ACM SIGIR/WWW/MobiCom, etc. Among them, the first/corresponding author published >90 JCR Region I and CCF Class A papers, the sum of impact factors >750, ESI highly cited papers >18, SCI citation >3200 times, and was selected as the top 2% of the world's top scientists published by Stanford University. The research results have been cited and positively evaluated by more than 30 well-known academicians and their teams at home and abroad, such as Wu Jianping, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Tsinghua University, Vincent Poor, academician of the American Academy of Sciences and Princeton University, Pietro Perona, director of Neuromorphological engineering of the National Natural Science Foundation of the United States, and so on. The research work has been supported by the Science and Technology Commission of the Military Commission, Major Guangdong Province, Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation International Cooperation Project and other scientific research funds, with a total PI of more than 50 million yuan. Led the team to develop a non-disturbed mental state assessment system based on intelligent behavior recognition and applied it to a number of well-known domestic institutions, completed more than 10,000 clinical trials, and obtained a series of positive feedback. Invited to a number of well-known international research institutions report, such as Cambridge University, IBM Watson and so on. He has long served on the editorial board of internationally renowned journals, such as the editor-in-chief of IEEE IoT Journal and IEEE TASE special issue, and the associate editor of IEEE TCSS. In addition, he has successfully applied research results to the industry. Bravolol Limited, a high-tech company founded as co-founder and chief technology officer, has won more than 100 million users in many developed countries including Europe and the United States.
