Wang Qianqian, Ph.D., Professor, doctoral supervisor, Deputy Dean of School of Optoelectronics, Beijing Institute of Technology. He graduated from the university in April 1995 and has been working since then. In March 2002, he obtained a doctor's degree in physical electronics from Beijing Institute of Technology. In 2007, he was engaged in research work at Fraunhofer Institute of Laser Technology of RWTH Aachen University in Germany. He has been engaged in teaching and research on optoelectronics and laser technology for a long time. His main research interests include laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy, machine learning and pattern recognition, photoelectric imaging and detection, and photonic device design and simulation.
He has presided over more than 40 projects including National Natural Science Foundation, Beijing Nature Foundation, GF pre-research and photoelectric equipment development. He won 1 first prize of National Defense Science and Technology (ranking 5), 1 third prize of National Defense Science and Technology (ranking 1), 3 third prizes of military science and technology progress (ranking 2, 4, 6), 1 third prize of Beijing Science and Technology (ranking 3), and applied for 15 national invention patents as the first inventor, obtained 10 national invention patents authorized, and 1 national defense invention patent. He has published 1 academic monograph and 5 national and ministerial key teaching materials, 3 of which are rated as Beijing excellent teaching materials. As the first or corresponding author, he has published more than 100 academic papers in international and domestic journals such as Journal of Hazardous Materials and Optics Express, including more than 20 SCI papers and more than 30 indexed by EI. He has been invited to make more than 10 presentations at international and domestic academic conferences.
He taught basic courses such as "Laser Principle and Technology" for undergraduates and "Optoelectronic Sensing Basis" for postgraduates. As the person in charge, he has undertaken 3 teaching and research reform projects for undergraduates and postgraduates. He has won the honorary titles of "Advanced Individual of Teacher Ethics", "Advanced Individual of Sanyu People", "Excellent Party Member" and "Excellent doctoral thesis Advisor" of Beijing Institute of Technology, and the second prize of two teaching achievements (ranked 1st and 3rd respectively). He has supervised 4 graduate doctoral students, 36 master students, 9 doctoral students (including 2 foreign students) and 7 master students. The doctor supervised by the university was awarded "excellent doctoral dissertation"; The master under the guidance won the title of "Outstanding Graduate Model" and Aerospace Science and Engineering (CASIC) scholarship.
