Yu received her PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from Auburn University, USA, from 2010 to 2015, under the supervision of Christian R. Goldsmith, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Texas at Austin, USA, from 2015 to 2019, under the supervision of Emily L. Que. During this period, he was mainly engaged in the research of magnetic resonance contrast agents with REDOX response. From 2019 to 2020, I studied metal-organic framework and hydrogen bond organic framework in George K. H. Shimizu's research group at the University of Calgary, Canada. In 2021, he joined Beijing Institute of Technology as a special researcher and doctoral supervisor.
Research Interests
(1) Research on magnetic resonance contrast agents based on transition metal complexes. To explore the effect of molecular magnetic regulation on contrast performance, a novel paramagnetic contrast agent with novel structure, controllable function and biological application prospect was designed.
(2) Magnetic control of solution compounds. The magnetic functional compounds with supramolecular properties are precisely constructed, and the coupling relationship between local structural disturbance, global structural change and magnetism is explored.
We sincerely welcome students with enthusiasm for scientific research and strong self-drive to join us!
