Liu Jinxu, member of the Communist Party of China, Doctor, professor, doctoral supervisor, is currently the director of the Department of Metal and Inorganic Nonmetallic Materials, Beijing Institute of Technology. The main research direction is the design, development and application of special materials. Teaching undergraduate courses: Fundamentals of Materials Science, Fundamentals of Engineering Materials, Introduction to Material Science; Teaching doctoral course: Introduction to Dynamic Mechanics of Materials.
He is a member of the Powder Metallurgy Branch of the Chinese Metal Society, a young editorial member of the Chinese Journal of Nonferrous Metals, a member of the Academic committee of the Key Laboratory of Special Materials of Henan Province, a special expert of the Panzhihua People's Government, and a special expert of several enterprises. As the project leader, presided over more than 10 national projects and more than 20 school-enterprise horizontal cooperation projects. The four scientific research achievements have realized technology transfer and industrial production.

Research Interests
Carry out the whole chain research on the design, development, application and industrialization of special materials, including special tungsten alloy, special titanium alloy, active metal, active composite materials and other directions of research work.
