In the direction of applied chemistry, new green synthesis techniques and methods of functional chiral compounds are developed, and new synthesis and properties of novel low sensitivity high energy compounds are studied.

Research Achievement
Under the support of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Defense 973, it has carried out asymmetric catalytic synthesis of fluorine and cyanogen compounds, developed novel synthesis methods of high nitrogen content, low sensitivity and high-energy energetic materials, authorized 7 invention patents, and published more than 80 SCI papers.
