Organisation profile

The School of Physics at Beijing Institute of Technology dates back to 1940, when it was established as the Department of Physics at Yan'an Natural Science Institute University Branch. Since then, it has undergone several transformations and mergers. In 2011, the School of Physics was officially established with CAS academician Ge Molin as its first dean.
