title = "Chirality from substitution: Enantiomer separation via a modified metal-organic framework",
abstract = "A microporous MOF structure, d-his-ZIF-8, with a chiral environment was synthesized via a simple ligand in situ substitution (LIS) of 2-methyl imidazolate (mIm) with d-histidine. These chiral MOF composites show exceptional selective separation capability for racemic alanine and glutamic acid, with an ee value of 78.52% and 79.44%, respectively.",
