Abstract

Focused on realizing the virtual prototyping of powertrain system modeling and simulation, by using a full position regulation diesel engine and a torque converter with look-up clutch, a model of engine, torque converter and lock-up clutch were setup in ADAMS, and then assembled into a virtual prototype for coordinated work simulation. With the simulation script, a simulation was performed under control to study the dynamic characteristics of coordinated work. The results validated the virtual prototype, which can be used to further integrated simulation of whole power train systems.
