N2 - Against the functional characteristic of performance parameter measured spacecraft mechanism and the feasibility of test methods, a practical method for assessing the reliability is proposed. The method is used to measure the key parameters to determine the reliability characteristics and the allowable value range corresponding to the trouble-free working conditions based on an analysis of the product performance. Using the observed sample values and mathematical statistics method, the lower confidence limit of product reliability can be evaluated. Examples indicate that the method in this paper is much simpler, easier to use, and can meet to the aerospace products' reliability test requirements.
