Abstract

To sense the signal with extreme low SNR in cognitive radio, a periodical signal detection method based on chaos theory is proposed. The method can solve the problem of sensing hidden primary users and low power spectral density signals to a great extent by using the properties of chaos system to sense periodical weak signal and to immunize system from noise. Simulation result has verified the feasibility and validity of the proposed method.
