Retraction notice to “Flow Chart of Methanol in China” (Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews (2013) 28 (541–550), (S1364032113005601) (10.1016/j.rser.2013.08.020))

This article has been retracted at the request of the Editor-in-Chief due to duplicate publication based on parts of the authors’ own article ‘The consumption, production and transportation of methanol in China: A review’ by Li-Wang Su, Xiang-Rong Li, Zuo-Yu Sun in Energy Policy, Volume 63, December 2013, Pages 130-138 with DOI: 10.1016/j.enpol.2013.08.031 One of the conditions of submission of a paper for publication is that authors declare explicitly that their work is original and has not appeared in a publication elsewhere. Re-use of any data should be appropriately cited. As such this article represents a severe abuse of the scientific publishing system. The scientific community takes a very strong view on this matter and apologies are offered to readers of the journal that this was not detected during the submission process.
