Abstract

Pneumatic manipulator driven by PAMs are used in various fields, such as robot manipulators, rescue robots, and some rehabilitation robots. In Fig. 3.1a, a aneumatic dual-arm robot is developed by Beijing Institute of technology. Due to the special structure of its joints, the human body develops astoundingly large forces and scope of movement in almost every direction.
