Abstract

Resonant power converters have many advantages over conventional converters that employed pulse width modulation. In order to increase the transmission power, this paper proposed a novel output voltage adjustable resonant converter based on LLC with auxiliary winding. The resonant circuit output voltage can be adjusted by changing the duty cycle of the switches in the auxiliary winding. And the phase of the resonant current can also be kept synchronous with voltage. The auxiliary winding is small and the efficiency is high. Therefore, the transmission power is increased. Finally, the operation and performance of the proposed converter are verified with simulation.
