Abstract

The effect law of kinetics parameters was investigated extensively. The results show that the activation energy, heat release and overdrive factor have great influence on the characteristics of detonation propagation and the detonation cellular width. When the overdrive factor is 1.0, the detonation cellular width decreases with the increase in the activation energy. When the overdrive factor is 1.2, the detonation cellular width decreases with the increase in the activation energy for heat release of 30 and 40; however, when the activation energy is less than 30.0, the detonation cellular width increases with the increase in the activation energy for heat release of 50.0, otherwise the cellular width increases. When the overdrive factor is 1.6, the cellular width firstly becomes small and then increase with the increase in heat release. For the overdrive factors of 1.0, 1.2 and 1.4, the cellular width decreases as the heat release increases. The widths of detonation cells with different activation energy and heat release increase with the increase in overdrive factor.
