Abstract

For the comparison of acoustic properties of different types of charge in underwater explosion, the underwater explosion tests of TNT, RS211 and RS3-4 charges have been carried out. The acoustic characteristics of three charges have been measured and analyzed in five aspects of the shock wave attenuation, duration of shock wave, acoustic pressure levels and the power-ratio spectrum. The results showed that the charge in underwater explosion can be taken as a strong acoustic interference source. The acoustic properties of charges are varied with their propagation distance, and their interference effects are carried out as well.
