N2 - The purpose of this study is to solve the problem that research department of enterprises is unable to timely find the research focus, direction and development trend, so as to improve and upgrade product technologies. Based on complex network theory, this study constructs a keyword network for technologies of products, and determines and calculates the parameters in the network. Moreover, research hotspots of technologies and information of network characteristics are found. Through cluster analysis on this network, the technologies in the field are divided into different research directions and the hot research directions are analyzed. In addition, this research conducts evolution analysis on statistic data of time series of technology nodes and forecasts the development trends of technologies in the future. By constructing the keyword network of electric transmission technologies, the above method is verified to be feasible.
