Abstract

UWB Ad Hoc network was concerned in this research. Channel capacity was analyzed according to UWB signal characters. Node throughput was explained under the wideband and finite power model in UWB Ad Hoc network. Problems of wireless access were classified into intra network interference and inter network interference, polling scheme and CSMA were used to solve the intra network interference, and SS (spread spectrum) was proposed to solve the inter network interference. Some MAC protocols used in UWB Ad Hoc network were compared. An idea of combining dynamic channel coding with MAC protocol and using time-hopping was analyzed. At last a routing policy combining the locating algorithms based on TOA and LAR protocol was introduced.
