Abstract

The each development stage and the latest achievement of charging protocol for lithium-ion traction battery at home and abroad are reviewed with the advantages and disadvantages of each charging mode and their effects on battery life are expounded, in which the development course of rapid charging mode are emphatically presented with its development law summarized. Among a variety of charging modes, the pulse charging and rapid intelligent charging have been widely studied and used due to their merits of time saving, high efficiency and long life. This research has important guiding significance for the practical application of lithium-ion traction battery.
